ContactManager.save()
This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.
Summary
The save
method is used to store a contact inside the device's contact database. If the contact is already in the database (based on its id
), it is updated, otherwise it is created.
Syntax
var instanceOfDomRequest = window.navigator.mozContacts.save(contact);
Parameters
contact
- A
mozContact
object representing the contact to add or update.
Return value
A DOMRequest
object to handle the success or error of the operation. In case of success the request's onsuccess handler is called, with a null result
.
