Window.scrollByPages()

Non-standard
This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.

Summary

Scrolls the current document by the specified number of pages.

Syntax

JavaScript
window.scrollByPages(pages) 

Parameters

  • pages is the number of pages to scroll.
  • pages may be a positive or negative integer.

Example

JavaScript
// scroll down the document by 1 page 
window.scrollByPages(1);

// scroll up the document by 1 page 
window.scrollByPages(-1);
