FetchEvent.clientId
This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.
The clientId
read-only property of the FetchEvent
returns the id of the Client
that the current service worker is controlling.
The Clients.get()
method could then be passed this ID to retrieve the associated client.
Syntax
var myClientId = FetchEvent.clientId;
Value
A DOMString
that represents the client ID.
Example
self.addEventListener('fetch', function(event) { console.log(event.clientId); });
