URLSearchParams.entries()

This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.

The URLSearchParams.entries() method returns an iterator allowing to go through all key/value pairs contained in this object. The key and value of each pair are USVString objects.

Note: This method is available in Web Workers.

Syntax

JavaScript
searchParams.entries();

Return value

Returns an iterator.

Example

js;highlight:[5]
// Create a test URLSearchParams object
var searchParams = new URLSearchParams("key1=value1&key2=value2");

// Display the key/value pairs
for(var pair of searchParams.entries()) {
   console.log(pair[0]+ ', '+ pair[1]);
}

The result is:

JavaScript
key1, value1
key2, value2
