WebGLRenderingContext.getUniformLocation()

The WebGLRenderingContext.getUniformLocation() method of the WebGL API returns a WebGLUniformLocation of a uniform variable in a given WebGLProgram.

Syntax

JavaScript
WebGLUniformLocation <var>gl</var>.getUniformLocation(<var>program</var>, <var>name</var>);

Parameters

program
A WebGLProgram containing the uniform variable.
name
A DOMString specifying the name of the uniform variable whose location to get.

Return value

A WebGLUniformLocation object indicating the location of the variable name if found. Returns null otherwise.
