SIMD.%type%.neg()
This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.
The static SIMD.%type%.mul()
method returns a new instance with the lane values negated.
Syntax
SIMD.Float32x4.neg(t) SIMD.Float64x2.neg(t) SIMD.Int8x16.neg(t) SIMD.Int16x8.neg(t) SIMD.Int32x4.neg(t) SIMD.Uint8x16.neg(t) SIMD.Uint16x8.neg(t) SIMD.Uint32x4.neg(t)
Parameters
- t
- An instance of a corresponding SIMD type.
Return value
A new corresponding SIMD data type with the lane values negated.
Examples
This example negates a Float32x4
, Float64x2
and a Int32x4
SIMD data type. Note the signed zero (-0
) in the case where a zero (0
) is negated in a float data type.
var a = SIMD.Float32x4(-1, -2, 3, 0); SIMD.Float32x4.neg(a); // Float32x4[1, 2, -3, -0] var b = SIMD.Float64x2(NaN, Infinity); SIMD.Float64x2.neg(b); // Float64x2[NaN, -Infinity] var c = SIMD.Int32x4(-1, -2, 3, 0); SIMD.Int32x4.neg(c); // Float32x4[1, 2, -3, 0]
